Dharma Blessing from Master Tze Cheng

Dharma Blessing from Master Tze Cheng

The moon is like your mind, and the
cloud your Karma.
Whether with clear skies or obscured
by clouds, the moon is perfectly round.
Comprehend the Principle of Non-Arising
expressed herein,
And light shall illuminate the Universe
as you give rise to neither.

The Venerable Abbot’s Blessings on Buddha’s Happy Day

The Venerable Abbot's Blessings on Buddha's Happy Day

From the timeless traditions of the auspicious
seventh lunar month, we know,
That among the four kinds of gratitude, the one towards one's parents is foremost.
Maudgalyayana once asked for guidance, and the
Buddha compassionately revealed,
The method for delivering his mother from the
endless suffering endured since time immemorial.
Ultimately, the salvation came from the power of the Sangha members assembled,
Along with the prouidence of those with the Three Disciplines and No Outflows.
With these words, I urge the Buddhists of the Ten Directions,
To protect the proper Dharma so it can be shared with all future generations.
